Following a game between the two teams, Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors gave guidance to rookie Bronny James of the Los Angeles Lakers. Curry instructed James, who gave an unexpected performance that evening, to use his own style of play on the court in the upcoming games.

Due to the controversy surrounding his connection with his father, LeBron James, Bronny James’ debut into the NBA drew a lot of criticism. It got worse when James performed poorly in the majority of his preseason games. But the Lakers guard surprised everyone by scoring 17 points in his second game against the Warriors.

Due to an injury, Curry was unable to participate in the aforementioned match, but he witnessed James reach his full potential. The NBA player praised the rookie’s plays after facing obstacles throughout the preseason and offered some guidance.

Interviewers questioned Bronny James about the advice Curry gave him during the post-game session. Next, the novice responded:

Mostly it was simply him asking me to be myself and play my game. James added, “I’m simply giving some advice on what to do in specific scenarios, nothing too insane.

The Lakers’ bench guys performed well for the club in their last preseason game against the Warriors. James finished with nine points, four rebounds, and three steals. The former USC Trojan was assisted by fellow rookie Quincy Olivari, who finished with 22 points, 4 assists, and 7 rebounds.

Over the past few months, Bronny James has experienced hardships. In addition to facing criticism, he dealt with health issues that had an impact on his on-court performances, most notably his cardiac arrest in August of last year. In the upcoming games, while he plays on the floor with the Lakers, he will try to overcome these challenges.

Skip Bayless gives a critique to Bronny James
Veteran journalist Skip Bayless, a fervent opponent of the Lakers guard, acknowledged Bronny James for his excellent skills in his most recent game against the Golden State Warriors. Nonetheless, Bayless emphasized that despite his outstanding accomplishment, James still possessed a weakness.

James’ low three-point percentage and assist ratio were specifically brought up by Bayless. Even though the Lakers rookie’s plays that evening were praised, the observer is still “disappointed” in the shortcomings.

Bronny James attempted twelve times from downtown, but he only made one. With an average of 0.3 assists, he also has trouble transferring the ball to teammates. James has shown that he is capable of playing against strong teams, but in order to fully contribute to the Lakers, he must also address his shortcomings.
