“Being at the top level in the Champions League and playing for the title, like I am now at Celtic, motivates me,” Schmeichel stated when playing for Denmark on international duty.

Naturally, I have a very special place in my heart for the Premier League, but I decided to move to Celtic because I’ve come to a team that must win every game and draw 60,000 spectators to its home games in order to qualify for the Champions League.
