A look at where former K-State football players from last season will be at in 2024
After posting an 8-4 record in 2023, Kansas State is gearing up for the 2024 season. Many new pieces have been added to the roster and numerous players will be seeing elevated roles.
With that being said, the Wildcats lost a small chunk of starters and some depth pieces as well. While some graduated, others entered the transfer portal and will be playing elsewhere in 2024.
Here’s a look at where last season’s departures to the transfer portal will be playing in 2024.
After spending three seasons at Mississippi State, Jevon Banks spent 2023 in Manhattan but is now headed to UConn with one season of eligibility remaining.
Kobe Savage is entering his fifth season of collegiate football — his first at Oregon. The hard-hitting safety spent his two seasons at Tyler JC before the last two seasons at K-State.
Wide receiver Xavier Loyd is now at Illinois State.
Remembered for his touchdown reception in the Big 12 Championship in 2022, RJ Garcia has transferred to Bowling Green.
Jordan Perry will be playing for Troy next season.
In one of the more surprising departures of the offseason, Nate Matlack will be a Pitt Panther next season.
Collin Dunn will be playing at Itawamba Community College in 2024.
Running back Anthony Frias transferred to UCLA.
Quarterback Adryan Lara appears to be a third-stringer at Louisiana behind Chandler Fields and Ben Wooldridge, who are battling for the starting spot.
