During and following the Dallas Cowboys’ 28-25 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3, CeeDee Lamb was not pleased with his behavior.

Lamb, who finished with just 67 receiving yards and a critical fumble in the red zone, got into an intense sideline discussion with quarterback Dak Prescott in the final moments of the exasperating defeat. Then, during the postgame media conference, the standout receiver was conspicuously missing.

Lamb said that he “failed myself” and “failed the team” in his first press conference following the defeat, but he also promised to improve going ahead.

What about Prescott’s altercation on the sidelines? Asserting that his bond with the Cowboys quarterback is “stronger than ever,” Lamb cautioned reporters against extrapolating from their exchange.

“Our relationship has, if anything, gotten stronger,” Lamb stated. “Don’t be duped by what you see online. To the end, we’re brothers. We are aware of our limitations, and I give him my best.”

“I see him as a brother and have the utmost respect for him. That being said, everything will be revealed, including the intensity, passion, love, and fight, and we will ultimately come to terms with it.”

“No, not crazy just yet. Avoid.”

After paying Prescott the richest salary in NFL history and Lamb the second-highest salary of any wide receiver in the league, the Cowboys are counting on their partnership to propel the team to the postseason for the fourth consecutive season.

However, Dallas is obviously not where it wants to be at 1-2. And Lamb isn’t either; in eight of the 17 games he played the previous season, Lamb broke the century mark in receiving yards. He hasn’t done so this year.

However, Lamb is in the correct state of mind because he accepted responsibility for his play in the Week 3 loss and his conduct.

As Lamb put it, “You can’t really erase what happened.” “What transpired has already occurred. Since I know that’s not who I am as a player, I truly see that as motivation. I’m aware that’s not who I am as a teammate. I am aware that’s not who I am as a guy. Having stated that, I see that as a foundation for

Furthermore, I don’t necessarily see that as a drawback. To be honest, I didn’t play well in the game. I accept full responsibility for that. I’m not ashamed of that.

“I’ll improve going forward. And all will be well.”

Lamb and the Cowboys play Thursday Night Football against the New York Giants.
