Paige Bueckers’ Six-Word Message To Cameron Brink After Injury

On Tuesday, Cameron Brink and the Los Angeles Sparks faced the Connecticut Sun, hoping to end their losing streak. Not only did the Sparks lose the game, 79-70, but they also lost an essential piece for the rest of the season.

Brink, a talented former Stanford Cardinal player, sustained a devastating torn left ACL just four minutes into the game. The team officially announced the injury on Wednesday. Brink, who was selected No. 2 in April’s draft, showcased her skills in all 15 games for the Sparks before the injury.

Following the announcement of Brink’s injury, Paige Bueckers, the guard for the UConn Huskies, had a concise six-word message for Brink.

Brink will miss the rest of the WNBA season and the 2024 Olympics. She was named to Team USA’s 3×3 basketball team earlier this month. Hopefully, Brink will have a successful and speedy recovery.
