Tyler Dupree and Adam Keighran of the Wigan Warriors were suspended for the Challenge Cup final.
After being sent off for a high tackle on Arron Lindop during the team’s Super League match against Warrington Wolves, whom they will play in the final on June 8 at Wembley, Keighran has been banned.

Dupree was also given a citation for hitting Sam Powell in the head during the game.

Both were fined £250 and banned from three games.

Whether the Warriors will contest either of the accusations is still up in the air.

Matt Peet acknowledges that center Adam Keighran’s red card against Warrington Wolves may result in his suspension from the Betfred Challenge Cup final.

After getting sent off in the closing minutes of the Warriors’ 19–18 victory over their cup final opponents in the Betfred Super League on Saturday, Keighran might be banned for the June 8 Wembley finale.

The goal-kicking three-quarter will now anxiously await the results of a disciplinary review after receiving a red card for a late tackle on Wolves’ Arron Lindop at Halliwell Jones Stadium.

“There is a potential he won’t play,” Peet said. “There’s always that chance when you play a game but that is what the squad is designed for.

“If he is out I’ll be very disappointed for Adam but, as far as the team is concerned, we’ll move on pretty quick.

“I just gave him a pat on the back and told him to keep his head up. He’s obviously disappointed but that’s it.”
