One of the reasons Simone Biles and her husband Jonathan Owens have succeeded in their respective fields is because they aren’t hesitant to display their competitive nature.
Additionally, they never hesitate to help one another; Owens accompanied Biles during her entire Olympic adventure in Paris.
He responded, “My wife’s a warrior,” when questioned about Biles following the Games. Like Simone’s parents, Ronald and Nellie Biles, who kept track of her scores throughout competitions, he was frequently in the stands and even took notes on a pad. Owens lately expressed an interest in gymnastics, suggesting that all of that note-taking was necessary.
Fans noticed that Biles was observing Owens as he tried a somersault on the mat during a Gold Over American Tour practice. He didn’t have the best technique, but that didn’t stop him from smiling after he finished the move.
Owens’ attempt at gymnastics sparked debate about which sport is more difficult. Biles previously discussed the subject with the two during a visit on the Back That Year Up podcast.
We have attempted to pit one another against one another based on factors such as ability, difficulty, and so on. Thus, whether he agrees or not, gymnastics is ultimately more difficult,” Biles tactfully said in response to host Kenan Thompson’s query.
Biles continued, “He has done my workout in the gym, and he could barely do it, and then I went to their NFL workout and I crushed it,” even though she acknowledged that they had teasingly battled about the subject.
Though the exchange demonstrates how lighthearted the two are when talking about their various sports, it becomes quite obvious which sport Biles thinks is more difficult.
