If Leeds United experiences any more injury setbacks, they may look to recruit Ryan Kent.

Football Insider, which has been giving updates on the winger’s possible transfer to Elland Road, claims that this is the case.

After losing favor under Jose Mourinho, Kent left Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahce in September and is now a free agent.

Therefore, even though the transfer window is presently closed, the 27-year-old might join with a new team.

As Leeds looks to preserve the depth of their own squad, it now appears that they may be monitoring that situation.

It is not ruled out that Ryan Kent will transfer to Elland Road.
Recently, Daniel Farke’s team has struggled with injuries, as players like Largie Ramazani, Ilia Gruev, and Ethan Ampadu have all been sidelined for extended periods of time.

By signing Joshua Guilavogui to a contract through the end of the season, the Yorkshire team has already demonstrated that they will use the free agent market to address those concerns.

After making that transfer, the Frenchman will cover in midfield when Gruev and Ampadu are not available.

Since Ramazani isn’t available out wide, Leeds might try to bolster that area as well if they run out of other choices.

According to this most recent report, Kent is a player the Whites may want to consider moving for in order to keep Farke’s team sufficiently deep if they sustain any more serious injuries.
Leeds had, of course, already shown interest in the winger; back in 2020, it was said that they intended to bid £10 million for him while he was still with Rangers.

Farke’s team is now third in the Championship standings after taking 23 points from their 12 league games this season.

On Saturday afternoon, the Whites will play their next game when they host Plymouth Argyle at Elland Road

Kent has recently been linked to more than just Leeds; League One underdogs Leyton Orient are said to have made a serious move to get the 27-year-old.

It might make sense to sign Ryan Kent to Leeds United.
It does appear that, should Farke’s team sustain any more injuries, a move for the former Fenerbahce winger might be worthwhile.

It is clear that the team intends to aim for promotion to the Premier League this season, and they cannot afford to take any chances of injuries thwarting their efforts.
Therefore, bringing Kent to Leeds could be the ideal course of action if they lose any more players due to injuries one to make.
They have already shown they can and will strengthen through the free agent market, so that should be no concern for them here.
