Newcastle United is apparently considering a bid to recruit a Champions League striker as a possible replacement for Alexander Isak, who is still stalling over a new deal.

News about transfers in Newcastle
It always seemed inevitable that Newcastle would experience some on-field difficulties after such a poor summer, and in recent weeks, that has definitely become their reality. Eddie Howe’s team lost their most recent loss at Stamford Bridge despite getting back on the scoreboard thanks to Isak’s second goal of the season. They haven’t won a Premier League game in their pa

Concerns about Isak’s future at St. James’ Park were raised by his timely comeback to scoring goals in the midst of recent rumors that he was considering a move to teams like Arsenal. Newcastle has every reason to be concerned about its top player, especially in light of allegations that negotiations over a new deal have stagnated.
The Magpies might have no option but to look for a successor, therefore they might focus on Ligue 1 and a specific forward. Spanish reports state that Newcastle is currently considering a bid to recruit Randal Kolo Muani, who was let go from Paris Saint-Germain.

Kolo Muani, who has struggled to recapture his best form since leaving Eintracht Frankfurt for a pricey £76 million transfer in 2023, may be moving in 2025
to bring an end to what has been a frustrating spell. It’s then that Newcastle could decide to strike and help the forward back to his most clinical form last shown in the Bundesliga.

PSG ‘would not be against a persuasive offer from Newcastle for the French striker’ in the upcoming transfer window, as the 25-year-old Frenchman still has plenty of time to develop into the player they thought they had signed a year ago.

“Complete” Newcastle’s offensive could be revived by Kolo Muani.
Kolo Muani might come out to resurrect Newcastle’s attack next summer, since Callum Wilson is currently a free agent and Isak might follow the Englishman out the door. He has undoubtedly had his share of difficulties at PSG, but it’s important to remember that, as the legendary Lionel Messi shown, it can be challenging to adapt to the Ligue 1 powerhouses.

Kolo Muani flourished at Frankfurt before his troubles at PSG, scoring an incredible 23 goals and providing 17 assists in the 2022–2023 season. That version of the Frenchman may return and lead Howe’s team back into European football in place of Isak if Newcastle can step in and put a stop to his Paris misery.

During that season, the attacker received a lot of accolades, especially from Kylian Mbappe, a teammate for France, who stated via The Metro: “He is a striker who offers different game options to our team.” He has a remarkable amount of play and is highly complete.

Newcastle might potentially provide Kolo Muani the perfect chance to move above PSG next summer in a striker domino effect should Isak depart.
