With great pleasure, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs announce that M&J Chickens, a local business, will extend their long-standing affiliation with the Club for an additional three years.

In 2025, the top poultry supplier will once again be featured on the Bulldogs’ playing uniform as the back of shorts sponsor, continuing their partnership that dates back to 2003.

Since their modest beginnings in 1982, M&J Chickens has established a solid reputation by providing to more than 3000 Australian businesses and counting, all thanks to their family values and ties to the community.

M&J Chickens, one of Rugby League’s most enduring partnerships, has been featured as a sleeve sponsor in the past. In recent years, the Bulldogs jersey has also featured the Jenny Souris Foundation on the back, honoring the late Jenny Souris, who stands in for the “J” in M&J Chickens.

Sam Phylactou, the CEO of M&J Chickens, was overjoyed to see the agreement extended.

Mr. Phylactou stated, “We are immensely happy to maintain our solid relationship with the Bulldogs.”
Having M&J Chickens on the Bulldogs’ uniform for the Club’s 90th anniversary is an honor, and we’re excited to commemorate that achievement in 2025 and beyond.

Since we started operating out of Wiley Park in the early 1980s, rugby league has been ingrained in our DNA, and our shared ideals with the Bulldogs have remained constant.

We will make sure that we continue to show our support when that happens again. We were there in 2004 when the Club last lifted the NRL Premiership trophy.

Bulldogs CEO Aaron Warburton praised the new agreement and emphasized the value of M&J Chickens’ ongoing assistance and dedication.

Mr. Warburton stated, “After more than 20 years, M&J Chickens are more than just a partner; they are genuinely a part of the Bulldogs fabric.”
Their steadfast devotion to the Club is demonstrated by their longevity, dedication, and support, which are evident on our jersey and in the community. Like a real family, they have remained devoted through both the good and the bad.
We are excited to be working with M&J Chickens, and we would especially want to thank Sam, Mina, and the whole Souris family for their ongoing support of the Club.
