An American sprint legend has discussed the attributes that make Julien Alfred superior to Sha’Carri Richardson and Gabby Thomas as a sprinter who will win the 2025 World Championships.
The current Olympic 100-meter champion Julien Alfred, according to Justin Gatlin, will be the athlete to watch in the 100- and 200-meter events next season.
A year after being professional, Julien Alfred demonstrated her promise at the Olympic Games in Paris, according to the American sprint legend. She is only getting started, according to Gatlin, who noted that she crushed the NCAA and continued her hot streak to dazzle in the Olympics.

The global indoor 60-meter champion placed fourth in the 200-meter final and fifth in the 100-meter final at the 2023 global Championships in Budapest, Hungary. She proceeded to conclude her season at the international showcase.
With a second-place performance at the Diamond League Meeting in Zurich and the diamond trophy at the Diamond League Meeting final in Brussels, Julien Alfred made an appearance this season even after the Olympics.
Gatlin noted that as Coach Edrick Floreal is one of the best tacticians, training under him is also very beneficial. He did not, however, exclude the possibility that Sha’Carri Richardson might seek retribution, stating that Dennis Mitchell is an excellent coach as well.
