Kemloops RCMP is appealing to the public particularly those in and around the Surrey area for assistance in locating missing woman Sherri-Lynn Bissonnette, who has been the focus of an ongoing search since being reported missing earlier this year. Investigators say new information suggests she may have recently traveled to the Lower Mainland, prompting renewed calls for tips and community awareness.

According to Corporal Dana Napier, spokesperson for the Kamloops RCMP Detachment, updated investigative leads indicate that Bissonnette may have been in the Surrey area as recently as November 26, 2025. This development has expanded the scope of the search beyond Kamloops and into a broader region, increasing the need for public vigilance.

“Investigators have new information to indicate that Sherri-Lynn may have been in the Surrey area as recently as November 26, 2025, and are asking the public to contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment or their local police,” said Cpl. Napier in a statement.

Bissonnette’s disappearance has raised significant concern among both law enforcement and her community, with RCMP emphasizing that public awareness can play a crucial role in bringing missing persons home safely. Officers are urging residents of Surrey, Kamloops, and surrounding areas to keep an eye out for any potential sightings or information that could assist the investigation.

The original RCMP news release which includes photos of Sherri-Lynn Bissonnette as well as images of her vehicle, a 2013 blue Chevrolet Silverado with BC licence plate SJ5370 is available through the Kamloops RCMP Newsroom. Authorities encourage the public to review the images, as recognizing either Bissonnette or her truck could provide vital leads.

Police are reminding the public that even seemingly small pieces of information may prove important. Whether someone noticed the truck, saw an individual matching Bissonnette’s description, or has any knowledge of her movements in the days leading up to November 26, investigators want to hear from them.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Sherri-Lynn Bissonnette is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file number 2025-39325. Tips may also be directed to local police agencies in other jurisdictions.

As the search continues, RCMP express hope that public assistance will help bring clarity to Bissonnette’s disappearance and ultimately lead to her safe recovery.
