College Station, TX – Texas A&M has landed a significant boost to their offense, securing the commitment of former North Carolina State wide receiver Kevin “KC” Concepcion. The sophomore standout announced his decision on Sunday, choosing the Aggies after exploring his options in the transfer portal.

Concepcion, a dynamic playmaker known for his explosive speed and route-running ability, quickly emerged as one of the top receivers in the country during his time with the Wolfpack. In just two seasons, he amassed impressive numbers, showcasing his talent on the field.

“We are thrilled to welcome KC to the Aggie family,” said Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko. “He is a talented and explosive player who will make an immediate impact on our offense. His ability to create big plays is undeniable, and we believe he has the potential to be a special player at this level.”

Concepcion’s arrival in College Station adds another weapon to an already talented receiving corps. He joins a group that includes returning players like Conner Weigman, as well as other notable additions like Micah Hudson (transfer from Texas Tech) and Mario Craver (transfer from Mississippi State).

With a strong foundation of returning players and the infusion of talented transfers, the Aggies are poised to make significant strides in their passing game under offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino. Concepcion’s playmaking ability will undoubtedly add a new dimension to the offense, providing quarterback Conner Weigman with another reliable target.

“I’m excited to join the Aggie family and contribute to the success of this program,” said Concepcion in a statement. “Coach Elko and his staff have built something special here, and I’m eager to be a part of it. I believe in the vision for the future, and I can’t wait to get to work.”

Concepcion’s commitment is a significant victory for the Aggies, who have been actively seeking to bolster their receiving corps through the transfer portal. His addition provides a much-needed boost to the offense and adds another layer of excitement to the upcoming season.

Looking Ahead:

With the addition of Concepcion, the Aggies are poised to have one of the most explosive offenses in the SEC. The combination of talented returning players, experienced transfers, and a dynamic play-caller in Bobby Petrino creates a recipe for success.

As the 2025 season approaches, all eyes will be on the Aggies to see how they utilize their newfound offensive firepower and compete for a conference title.
