According to sources who spoke to PennLive, the Pittsburgh Steelers anticipate that running back Cordarrelle Patterson, center Zach Frazier, and outside linebacker Nick Herbig will return from injury for their Week 10 matchup against the Washington Commanders.

After suffering an ankle injury against the Las Vegas Raiders, Frazier is out of a boot and has begun to recover. Frazier was fortunate to avoid severe harm thanks to the rod in his leg from a broken bone a year prior. He will only miss two games instead.

After sustaining a grade 2 hamstring strain against the Dallas Cowboys, Herbig has been sidelined for the past three games. Ade Ogundeji’s release, however, suggests that Herbig will return soon to the Steelers. He has not seen any setbacks in his recuperation from the injury and is currently further ahead in his rehabilitation than was initially expected.

Due to a severe ankle sprain sustained against the Indianapolis Colts, Patterson has missed the last four games. Last week, he practiced sparingly, but following the bye week, he will increase his involvement to full. When he returns, the Steelers will have a full backfield to use for the first time since Week 3.

Pittsburgh also anticipates the return of linebacker Tyler Matakevich and offensive tackle Dylan Cook. Cornerback Cory Trice is expected to be able to return during the 21-day timeframe, and there is hope that he will be able to play in Week 10.
