Odell Beckham Jr. speaks out after Miami Dolphins are underusing the star receiver
The fun time in paradise might be over
- Desperation grips the Miami Dolphins: Receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is reactivated
- Tua Tagovailoa channels his inner Patrick Mahomes with jaw-dropping pass in Dolphins return
There is no question that Odell Beckham Jr. is one of the most talented wide receivers in the game, but there is one problem. He has not seen a lot of “game” action lately in the Miami Dolphins organization and he is not happy.
The former New York Giants receiver posted a message on social media and seemingly confirms the previous after his lack of involvement in the team’s offense this season.
Tell them when they make the edit… show all,” the message said. “The routessss.. yup Bet,” it continued and it’s referring to his work on the field and the fact he has not been required as he wanted to be.
The frustration has grown
Odell Beckham Jr. has been targeted little as of late and he has not been on the field as much either. OBJ has appeared in three games for the Miami Dolphins and interestingly enough he has not registered a catch in the year yet.
On October 6 against the New England Patriots he was targeted only one time and could not hold on. Two weeks later against the Indianapolis Colts he was targeted twice but still no catch.
While it is true that in both of those games Tua Tagovailoa did not play, during the Week 8 encounter he was not targeted at all with Tua returning to the field. Odell has not been used and he might be a trade candidate if the price is right, the question is if he would immediately would like to leave Miami or wait for Tua to regain confidence after his concussion and see if he can be involved.
