The latest additions to Metallica’s current M72 tour have been revealed.
In November 2025, the band will play six shows in Australia and New Zealand. They will start on November 1 in Perth, Western Australia, and then go to Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney before concluding their tour in Auckland on November 19. At every show, evanescence and suicidal tendencies will be supported.
We’ve been wanting to make this announcement for a while, and we’re ecstatic to have confirmed a November 2025 return to Australia and New Zealand,” the band said. This time, we’ll be playing in stadiums, and we’re excited to go to some of our favorite locations across the globe for a total of six performances.
We can’t wait to rejoice with you next year since this will be the Metallica Family reunion we’ve been waiting for!
Only one show has been planned in each Australian city, in contrast to most M72 tour dates, which have Metallica performing two nights in each city as part of a “No Repeat Weekend” show. Additionally, each stadium’s staging will be moved to the end, with the snakepit in front of the stage, instead of the band performing “in the round” with the notorious snakepit in the middle of the stage.
On Monday, November 4, at 12 p.m. local time, tickets will go on sale. On Tuesday, October 29, Fan Club presales will start. On the Metallica website, fans can sign up for presale codes. Additionally, there are vacation packages and enhanced ticket experiences available.
The M72 tour’s next stop is the Sick New World Festival in April of next year in Las Vegas, Nevada. Complete dates are shown below.
