Simone Biles, the Olympic gold medallist, is embarking on a gymnastics tour throughout the country with company.
When Biles traveled to Austin, Texas this week for her Gold Over America Tour, she made sure to bring her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens, along for the ride.
Biles is sharing some of the success from the Paris Summer Olympics across the nation with teammates Hezly Rivera, Jade Carey, and Jordan Chiles.
Since the Bears are off this week, Owens was with them this time. As the tour moved to the couple’s hometown of Houston, there was still time for the married couple to post some pictures from their time in the Lone Star State.
With the comment, “When hubby comes on tour,” and four white heart emojis, Biles shared a photo of herself and Owens holding hands in Austin on her Instagram story.
At the Moody Center, where the Austin stop was held, the couple even posed for pictures at a photobooth.
Owens attempted to raise his legs and lift himself up before the show began by attempting to use the parallel bars.
‘Should we add him to the cast?’ was the humorous caption Biles wrote after sharing a video of him trying to execute the move.
Owens was photographed standing close to a GOAT sign in Houston. Following their skill at darts, the two were later spotted shaking hands in a unique way.
Following its stop in Houston on Saturday, the Gold Over America Tour will make seven more stops in Texas, including a visit to Fort Worth on Sunday.
The trip will conclude in Detroit on November 3 after Biles and company visit Cleveland, Indianapolis, Louisville, Greensboro, North Carolina, and Cincinnati.
Biles would then have many chances to watch her husband play for the Bears, just as she has done recently.
She most recently went to Soldier Field to watch a game against the Los Angeles Rams on September 29. Following the game, she was photographed kissing Owens.
