KISS have been forced to cancel a second show in Canada as frontman Paul Stanley is battling flu.

To the dismay of fans who had travelled to the gig, KISS’s planned show at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa on Tuesday was axed two hours before showtime due to an unspecified illness within the KISS camp.

Yesterday (22nd November), KISS confirmed that their planned last ever show in Toronto also won’t be going ahead.

KISS posted a photo of Paul Stanley with an intravenous drip, and a statement from the 71-year-old rocker.

“Toronto And Ottawa… I’ve done everything possible to get onstage and be a part of the incredible 2 1/2 hour celebration we planned but this flu has made it impossible,” Stanley said.

“I along with Gene, Tommy and Eric couldn’t be more disappointed and send our deepest apologies.”

The next scheduled date on KISS’s swansong End of the Road World Tour is scheduled to take place on Friday night (24th November) at Knoxville Thompson–Boling Arena.

The band are due to then play concerts in Indianapolis, Rosemont and Baltimore before culminating with their last ever shows at New York Madison Square Garden on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd December 2023. The final show is available to watch on pay-per-view across the globe.

Last month, KISS cancelled their final concert outside of North America at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena two days before the gig due to ‘unforeseen circumstances.’

KISS also axed their opening UK tour date at Plymouth Home Park Stadium in the summer due to ‘travel, equipment and logistical complications.’
