The 500 class World Champion injured his right foot at his parents’ ranch
The passion for two wheels knows no age, as demonstrated by Valentino Rossi, who at the age of forty races in MotoGP in search of his tenth title, but also a fall resulting in a fracture of his right foot due to Kevin schwantz.
The 500 1993cc World Champion crashed while training on a motocross bike at his parents’ ranch in Austin, Texas.
The 54-year-old then went under the knife and first wrote this message on his Instagram profile: “A small setback during MX training at my parents’ ranch, I will have to undergo surgery.”
Then after the operation he wrote: “They discovered a fracture in my right foot, so it’s going to take a little longer than expected to heal. I thank David C. Laverty and the entire team at Texas Orthopedics for the good treatment.”
