With the Washington Commanders on Sunday, former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jeremy McNichols had one of his best games ever. McNichols scampered for two scores and 68 yards on only eight rushes in their victory over the Arizona Cardinals. A reception was added to that sum by him.
Over the years, McNichols has struggled to find a new position in the NFL due to a number of injuries. However, he was able to overcome these setbacks and make the most of his opportunity on Sunday against the Commanders.
After attending training camp in 2022, McNichols was waived by the Steelers due to a hamstring injury he sustained while in Latrobe. Now, under the direction of Jayden Daniels’ explosive passing offense for the Washington Commanders, McNichols has found a place where he can effectively use his speed and one-cut running technique.
