Football Insider has been informed by sources that Nottingham Forest is interested in signing Luca Koleosho, a winger for Burnley.

Koleosho’s future will rely on Burnley’s position in the Championship, according to senior journalist Pete O’Rourke in an interview with the most recent episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast.

The 20-year-old is valued by the Clarets at £40 million, having moved swiftly to sign him to a new five-year deal.

Additionally, it is improbable that the winger will leave during the forthcoming January transfer window; a possible transfer is more likely to occur in the summer.

On deadline day, Wolves made an attempt to buy Koleosho, but were ultimately deterred by the price Burnley set.

Going into next transfer windows, Forest isn’t the only team that is believed to be impressed with him.

Koleosho is expected to generate “a lot of interest,” giving Forest fierce competition to get his autograph.

Since interest in Anthony Elanga started to grow in the summer, Forest has been searching for a winger, and Koleosho has emerged as a key target.

In 15 Premier League games last season, the winger managed one goal and one assist.
The Italy Under-21 international has scored twice in five Championship games to open the new campaign in excellent fashion.

He has been started in all but one of Burnley’s games by Scott Parker, who has made him an essential member of the team.
