The summer transfer window saw the Hammers shell out £132.5 million for players, including the additions of Niclas Fullkrug from Borussia Dortmund and Crysencio Summerville from Leeds United.

But in addition to Julen Lopetgeui being under pressure after West Ham’s dismal start to the season—they have only won one of their first five games—they also want a boost to their results.

And despite having a team full of players who can win games, the Hammers are keen to welcome a rival to the London Stadium, according to a recent Fichajes story.

Although  Julio Enciso  of Brighton has previously been connected to West Ham, Fichajes believes the Hammers are currently “getting ready” to present their league rivals with a first bid of approximately £34 million (€40 million).
It’s true that the Seagulls are renowned for getting the most out of their young players, but Tony Bloom might not have much control over Enciso.

With less than two years left on his contract, the Paraguay international’s value would drastically drop and West Ham would get the upper hand in negotiations if his terms aren’t extended before next summer.

In 46 games across all competitions during his first two years at the AMEX, the playmaker has personally contributed to 10 goals.
