In Week 3, Nabers once again excelled. Against the Browns, he caught eight passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns. This season, the Giants’ first-round draft choice has lived up to the anticipation. He had an outstanding performance in Week 3 and made several great receptions.

Against the Commanders in Week 2, Nabers had his best game ever, racking up 10 receptions for 127 yards and his first NFL score. With 271 receiving yards through the first three weeks of the season, he now ranks fourth in the NFL. This week, he added to his season totals.

Quarterback Daniel Jones had a terrible start to the season in Week 1, but he has since put together two strong performances in Weeks 2 and 3. Against the Browns, he completed 24-34 throwing for 236 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. Jones has now had at least two passing touchdowns and no turnovers in the last two weeks.

The Giants’ defense found it difficult to contain the offenses of the Minnesota Vikings and Washington Commanders throughout the first two weeks of the season. But in Week 3, the defense appeared to improve as the Cleveland Browns were only able to muster 217 total yards of offense. Against the Browns, the Giants defense recorded eight sacks for a 48-yard loss. Additionally, they caused two fumbles by Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson and recovered them.

Dexter Lawrence, an All-Pro defensive tackle, helped the Giants amass eight sacks over the Browns. Having racked up three sacks so far this season, he is solidifying his position as the league’s most dominant player. Three total tackles, two sacks, one tackle for loss, and four quarterback hits were all recorded by Lawrence at the end of the game.

The Giants’ offense cooled out in the second half of the game after getting off to a scorching start. In Week 3, the team scored all 21 of its points in the first two quarters of play. In the second half, their drives all came to an end with a punt, a fumble, or a field goal that was missed.

The Giants, who are now 1-2 and in second place in the NFC East, will take on the 1-2 Dallas Cowboys in a crucial Week 4 showdown. The Giants’ second divisional match of the year is this one. On Thursday night, Dallas and New York will play in primetime.
