Recently, there have been a lot of trade rumors mentioning Julius Randle, and many of them have involved trading for depth at center. The New York Knicks would send Randle to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for one of their centers, Clint Capela, according to a recent trade proposal from Drew Maresca of ClutchPoints.

In the 73 games that he played for the Hawks last season, Capela averaged 11 points, 10 rebounds, and a block per game. He is still one of the league’s most reliable defensive centers. Having said all of that, the organization will probably decide to keep Randle around for the time being in order to evaluate how he works with the new lineup. The Knicks might be in a terrific position to compete this season if he can remain on the court.
