Pittsburgh –Troy Fautanu, a rookie offensive tackle selected in the first round by the Pittsburgh Steelers, will start his first game of the season against the Denver Broncos. Head coach Mike Tomlin made a suggestion that it would be conceivable, though the franchise hasn’t officially acknowledged it. Broderick Jones, who is suffering with various injuries, including one to his elbow that has hampered his play, will probably sit for the Steelers.

Steelers tackle Dan Moore Jr. remarked, “Troy’s been ready since he walked in the door, man.” He understands things, is intelligent, intuitive, and eager to work and be active. I believe he won’t find the occasion to be particularly significant.ITTSBURGHTroy Fautanu, a rookie offensive tackle selected in the first round by the Pittsburgh Steelers, will start his first game of the season against

At right tackle in practice, Fautanu has logged the majority of first-team reps. Fautanu was selected with the 20th overall choice in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Steelers anticipate that, in the long run, Fautanu will start at right tackle while Jones returns to his natural position as left tackle.

Troy truly impressed us, according to Moore. His transformation from OTAs to camp was quite amazing. And as camp went on, he just kept getting better every day. He performed admirably in the few preseason action that he saw. To be honest, I believe he made an impression on the coaches and the offensive linemen, and he earned our respect. We trust him.
