Shortly after East Carolina’s baseball season ended on Monday in the Greenville Regional final, news of players exiting the program made its rounds.

On top of a handful of seniors who wouldn’t be back next season, a group of underclassmen opted to hit the transfer portal in recent days. Standout freshman Bristol Carter and sophomore starting pitcher Zach Root are the headliners to leave, while Luke Nowak, Corey Costello, Cam Clonch and Drew Bryan have also opted to test the portal.
