Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke announces second Auckland show
Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has announced he will be performing a second show at Auckland’s Spark Arena later this year.
Earlier this month the renowned British musician and composer said he would be performing a series of international solo dates throughout October and November, including one show in Auckland and one in Christchurch.
“Due to outstanding demand for tickets, a second Auckland show at Spark Arena has now been confirmed for Saturday, October 26,” a spokesperson said.
Yorke’s Everything tour begins in Christchurch at the Wolfbrook Arena on Wednesday, October 23, followed by two nights at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Friday, October 25 and also Saturday, October 26.
It’ll be followed by two concerts at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne on October 29 and 30, and two shows at the Sydney Opera House on November 1 and 2.
He will then perform for one night in Singapore, before heading to Japan for eight shows.
Yorke has recently been touring and releasing music with his latest band The Smile.
Radiohead’s last album A Moon Shaped Pool was released in 2016.
Tickets for the additional Auckland show will be available from 10am tomorrow through Ticketmaster.
