Nico Bolden - Carolina Panthers Safety - ESPN

Nico Bolden made his way to the Battlehawks in Training Camp this year, but was let go during cutdowns. Due to some injuries and roster movement, he was brought back midway through the season. He immediately made an impact on special teams, blocking a punt in their week five win over DC.

Nico didn’t see too many minutes on defense, playing just 25 snaps this year. He was a mainstay on special teams, though, with a 91.5 Special Teams grade via PFF. He totaled seven ST tackles in 2024, alongside 11 tackles on defense.

Bolden played his college football at New Mexico State and Kent State, posting 236 tackles, a sack, and two interceptions as a collegiate athlete.

Most recently, he received an invite to workout with the Denver Broncos following the UFL season. While he does have the opportunity to opt out for an NFL gig – as it stands right now, GM Dave Boller is set on bringing Bolden back for the 2025 campaign.

So far, the St. Louis Battlehawks have also re-signed:

RB Kevon Latulas
WR Jerome Kapp
TE Kemari Averett
OL Abdul Beecham
OL Teton Saltes
S Dravon Askew-Henry
