Bruce Springsteen Joins Zach Bryan Onstage In Philadelphia
Bruce Springsteen surprised fans on Wednesday (August 7) by going onstage to join Zach Bryan, who was performing at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field as part of his “The Quittin’ Time Tour.”
Springsteen, whose scheduled concert on Tuesday (August 6) was delayed due to wild weather, performed “Atlantic City” with Bryan. The song is from Springsteen’s 1981 lo-fi classic album Nebraska.
“Everything dies, baby that’s a fact/But maybe everything that dies some day comes back/Put your makeup on, fix your hair up pretty/And meet me tonight in Atlantic City,” Springsteen and Bryan sang in the iconic chorus.
Apart from Springsteen, Bryan’s show on Wednesday also featured other guest performers such as The Lumineers and Shane Gillis as well.
“He looked and sounded great,” said Brandon Thompson, editor of the Blog It All Night Springsteen news site, who was in the pit for the show. “He looks incredible. My friends were with me and couldn’t believe he was about to turn 75.”
