Following their May 2022 Echoes Tour of the UK, the band have since played extensively through the US, Australia and Europe including a show in Pompeii in July last year – a venue of course synonymous with the music of Pink Floyd.
Formed in 2018, Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets are Nick Mason, Gary Kemp, Guy Pratt, Lee Harris and Dom Beken and they play Pink Floyd’s celebrated and significant early body of work including tracks from the era of 1967’s The Piper At The Gates of Dawn through to 1972’s Obscured By Clouds which has included a much-lauded rendition of the 23-minute epic Echoes.
Nick Mason said in a statement, “Six years ago when I got behind the drums again and we started playing the early Pink Floyd material, it was a real pleasure on so many levels.
Many of the tracks had never actually been played live, so to have performed them all over the world has been something we’ve all enjoyed immensely.
To get the opportunity to come back to the UK for another tour is something the band and I had been hoping we would be able to do, so to say “we’re back” feels good!”
The news comes after the recent announcement of a new collector’s edition vinyl release of Pink Floyd’s landmark album, The Dark Side Of The Moon.

Speaking to Rolling Stone in June 2019 as the “Saucers” embarked on a U.S. leg, Mason compared his low-key gigs to Pink Floyd’s bombastic stadium shows.
“I felt 25 again,” Mason said. “I could finally see the other musicians and we all made eye contact. I could see the back of the auditorium and everyone listening.
Big stadiums are an extraordinary thing to do and it gives you the opportunity to do all the pyrotechnics and all the rest of it, but it’s not as engaging as an audience that you can see.”
Roger Waters, who praised Mason for going solo at 75, reunited with his former bandmate during a Saucers show in New York to perform “Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun.”
NICK MASON’S SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS initially formed for an invitation-only performance at Dingwalls in Camden, London.
By focusing on the legendary British group’s timeless early material, NICK MASON’S SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS gave fans an opportunity to experience Pink Floyd songs that had rarely been performed live.
Rave reviews and unanimous acclaim followed, which resulted in more shows being added – including a sold-out theatre tour of North America, Europe and the UK.
Increased demand soon saw NICK MASON’S SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS returning for an encore season in 2019, which included two transformative sold-out shows at The Roundhouse: the historic Camden venue where Pink Floyd first played in 1966.
‘Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets Live At The Roundhouse’ – a live recording taken from the aforementioned sold-out shows – was released as a double-CD/DVD package, double-vinyl and on Blu-ray through Sony Records in 2020.
Recorded almost a year to the day and just a few hundred yards from the first-ever NICK MASON’S SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS show, this release captures the joy, passion and synergy of this extraordinary supergroup.
During these upcoming Australian shows, fans can expect a curated setlist featuring songs from Pink Floyd’s early discography.
The sold-out houses and ecstatic worldwide critical acclaim that NICK MASON’S SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS have amassed around the globe speak volumes.
