Caitlin Clark, Kate Martin Speak Out About Iowa Teammate Gabbie Marshall’s Social Media Announcement

Teammates on the Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball team have formed quite a bond in recent years.

Although Iowa couldn’t secure a national championship during their two consecutive championship game appearances, they still deserve a ton of credit for reaching the NCAA tournament final in consecutive seasons.

Especially because Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin have gone on to have successful rookie WNBA seasons.

Gabbie Marshall was one of Clark’s and Martin’s closest friends and best supporting cast members during their Iowa tenure, and on Wednesday, Marshall made an Instagram announcement that caught her two former teammates’ attention.

“Dude this is seriously awesome,” Clark replied in the comments section of Marshall’s post.

“Go off,” added Martin.

Although Marshall may not be playing basketball any longer, that isn’t stopping her two WNBA-playing former teammates and close friends from showing their continued support.
