Newcastle United plans to capture three English stars, disrupting Arsenal and Tottenham’s transfer plans and contracts.

Newcastle United are poised to disrupt the established so-called Big Six with major moves that will throw a spanner in the works of rivals.

The Magpies are currently fourth in the Premier League, three points clear of fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur with a game in hand. The first Champions League campaign in 20 years appears to be on the horizon, which might lead to major additions.

Alexander Isak, Anthony Gordon, and Bruno Guimaraes have already signed for high prices, but with the infusion of Champions League money, Newcastle United may have greater leeway under financial fair play standards, allowing them to spend even more in the upcoming transfer window.

According to the Telegraph, Newcastle are looking for four “elite signings” this summer, with Declan Rice, Ivan Toney, and James Maddison all being named as possible new additions.

Rice is said to be Arsenal’s top target this summer, as the club looks for another midfielder. According to TalkSport, the Gunners are sure of a deal, but given their refusal to ‘overpay’ for targets over what they believe they are worth, Newcastle might rush in and sign the West Ham United star first, similar to how Mikel Arteta missed out on Mykhaylo Mudryk.

Similarly, trade guru Fabrizio Romano recently confirmed Tottenham are chasing James Maddison, and if the Magpies beat the Lilywhites to Champions League football, it’s likely that they’ll position themselves as the first choice destination for the Leicester City playmaker.

“Tottenham are monitoring James Maddison for sure, also Newcastle have his name on their list since last August as he’s always been appreciated,” Romano replied to Caught Offside.

Ivan Toney, on the other hand, may be the most fascinating link of all. The Brentford striker was released by Newcastle as a youth, and with Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson as first-choice No.9s, there isn’t a clear need for another striker.
