Kansas City Chiefs free agency additions

• Wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown is signing a one-year, $7 million deal worth up to $11 million with Kansas City, landing Patrick Mahomes a major weapon in the passing game.
• Defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi is returning to the Chiefs, according to SportsTrust Advisors, his agency.
• Defensive tackle Tershawn Wharton is returning on a one-year deal, according to Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report.
• Defensive tackle Mike Pennel is returning on a one-year deal, according to multiple reports.
• Safety Deon Bush is returning to Kansas City on a one-year deal, according to Adam Schefter.
• Tight end Irv Smith Jr. was the Chiefs’ first addition of Tuesday’s tampering period, as the Chiefs agreed to a one-year deal with Smith, first reported by Adam Schefter.

• The Chiefs re-signed four exclusive rights free agents, according to Matt Derrick of Chiefs Digest, locking up cornerback Nazeeh Johnson, linebacker Cole Christiansen, interior offensive lineman Mike Caliendo and defensive end Malik Herring. The Chiefs later confirmed that they placed Exclusive Rights Tenders on those four players in addition to linebacker Jack Cochrane.
• Long snapper James Winchester is reportedly returning for his 10th season, according to Matt Derrick of Chiefs Digest.
• Defensive tackle Chris Jones will be staying in Kansas City with a new five-year contract extension that essentially boils down to a three-year deal with $95 million guaranteed, though even that $95 million guaranteed has some flexibility for KC.
